Good books for reluctant middle school readers

This series is great for reluctant middle school male readers. I have been told that by teachers, parents, and the kids themselves. They seem to love the series and put down the remote on their video games.

  1. I agree with you completely. My 5th grade son has always had a hard time getting focused on the books his teachers have assigned him to read. I saw your book "Summer & Shiner" online at and thought that my son would get a kick out of it. Once he started reading it he couldn't put it down. I am usually pretty strict about his bedtime, but when he wants to stay up later, just so he could finish the chapter he is reading, I let it slide. He has just finished the book and can't wait to read more about the adventures of Carley and Troop. Thanks for getting my son excited about reading.
